U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #74168, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, black oxide finish, walnut stock, blade front sight, and M1905 adjustable rear sight. Rifle was originally made in 1905 and arsenal rebuilt with mixed parts. Receiver is marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/74168". Replacement barrel is marked "SA/(Flaming Bomb)/11-42" with a "P" underneath. No visible import marks. Rifle is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 85%+ arsenal refinish, with wear on the bolt, some scattered high point wear and mild frosting. Pistol grip stock is cut for a 03-A3 and marked "RA-P" (Raritan Arsenal) on the left side, "1468" on the right side, with an "S" and "U" on the pistol grip. Stock is good, with scattered dents and scratches, heavier in front of the barrel band and on the right side below the receiver. Action works properly. Bore is very good showing normal light wear.
